Philip Kountz

Philip Kountz continued to live on the old Counts farm on Hawksbill in Shenandoah County and died there about 1843. He married Anna Kiser, sister of Joseph Kiser, the ancestor of all Kisers of Russell County. They had two children, Jacob and Elizabeth. Elizabeth married Robert Carter, and their children later moved to West Virginia and Indiana.
